  A huge shout-out to staff member, "Mike," who took the time to help me our with a car battery problem the other day! While waiting for a family member to leave work in SLO and come out to help me, I asked him if I could store my just-purchased groceries in a cooler, if need be. "Of course," he replied, but "what's the problem?" Then he said, "we're going to get this done," proceeded to find jumper cables from a friendly shopper, and did just that! As if Trader Joe's wasn't already my favorite grocery store (I just feel more cheerful, the moment I walk in) this really sealed the deal for me. Forget the other grocery options around town, this place delivers the human connection that makes me want to bring my business there. Thanks again for saving the day, Mike! :)

  My first choice when shopping! Great prices for top quality goods. Fresh produce, frozen foods, beer and wines are excellent! Staff go above and beyond in their customer service. I could gush all day about the helpfulness. Great shopping with that old-fashioned warmth of the small grocer. I shop here!
